What is the World Series of Poker blind schedule and chip allocation?

Bradley B asked:

I’m hosting a tourney and I would like to give out $10,000 worth of chips and follow the same blind schedule as WSOP. Does anyone know what the chip allocation is and the blind schedule? (We are only working with 4 colors)

    1. the blind structure can be found here:
the world series uses 2 hour levels, unless your tournament is going to have many many tables, i would recommend lowering that time to 30 minutes or so, or else your tournament will take forever, also, only using 4 colors of chips may become a problem, as the blinds go up, the 25 and 50 chips used earlier will no longer be needed, so if you have different chips, coloring up would be a good idea, but you can run your tournament any way you like, get it going, and see what needs to happen as the tournament continues.

    2. You would have an extremely long tournament. The WSOP is structured in a way to allow the maximum possible play for players to overcome bad luck and allow the top players to rise to the top. I’d suggest the same blind structure, but with half the chips if you have players who can’t stay interested in a tournament for more than 3-4 hours which is generally the case.

At any rate, here is the blind structure for the WSOP:
