What’s the easiest way to win a free seat at the World Series of Poker?

I really love poker, but I don’t have $10 grand sitting around to blow, nor do I have the travel expenses to get me out there. I think it would be a great experience (even if I don’t make the money), but I can’t substantiate saving $11-12K (including travel and lodging expenses) just to spend a week in Vegas.

Anyone know of any legitimate ways to win a seat in ANY events?

Poker
You can try satellites, either casino or online. If you decide to try for a seat online, go to for a list of top poker sites and bonus codes who generally offer WSOP seats. There has been a rumor that the WSOP won’t accept online-awarded seats, but other large tournament seats can be won through sites like Full Tilt and Ultimate Bet.
Some online sites offer places at WSOP so you can try. BF has sometimes things like this. You can find more info about BF in this link
The best way is to play some satellites. Live and online. Also you can play several WSOP Events where the buy-in is not 10K! You can find other events for 1500, 2K, 3K buy-in. You can also find satellites for those too.
The 2008 WSOP start on May 30th to July 3th.
One more thing: There is no easy way, so play your A game, and I wish you the best to win a seat for it. Good luck, and who knows, we might be seating at the same table!
I played for free this past year at the Milwaukee’s Best web site. The are one of the major sponsors of the WSOP and they offer a way to play poker on their site.
Sign up for free and then you answer survey questions all week to earn points. The top 500 point earners for the week play a freeroll on Sunday and the winner gets a 10K entry to the WSOP Main event. It is pretty cool and totally free. I think they will start running it in the springtime just before the 2008 WSOP begins. Good luck!
The World Series of Poker have Circuit Events all over the country with buy ins starting at $300. So you can have the WSOP experience without spending $10K.
A good way to get into the Main Event is to win a tournament online. But it’s not easy, and requires plenty of talent and hard work. No one just lightly gives away a $12K prize for nothing.
